engine harness m50b25

so im very new to this, i have a 1987 e30, an m50b25 engine with harness engine mounts shift bracket brake booster and other stuff im pretty sure i have everything needed to swap my car because my cousin gave me all his old stuff from his swap...anyways he told me i need to modify my wiring? not sure exactly what he means by that but if anyone can give me advice or help me out it would be much appreciated, thanks in advance for your help! -Ray

Or get a hold of an 1990-1992 E34 525i (M50B25 S1) engine harness. It has the same connector as the E30 chassis. Look below for pictures:

Does this act as a plug and play harness for the m50 swap or do you still need to do some wiring?

You need to splice the wires reconnect and plug it in, and also you need to connect a wire for VSS on the back of your Cluster.
