Aus: M54b25 wiring to E30 HELP

    G'day

I have completed my M54 swap including an EWS delete through Kassel performance on a manual ms43 ecu. I am getting the car to turn over, fuel pump is going and all the relays are on (clicking) but I have no fire

The donor car/harness was from an automatic E39 therefore I am wondering about the park recognition and if something needs looping to trick the computer or I am reading that there is a clutch switch and brake switch required. (EDIT: read that pin 23 needs 12v to jump the clutch switch which I have done

I also have a few clear 3 pin plugs not mentioned on Desert BMW's write up and my 12 pin chassis plug has wires in his "empty" spots so wondering if they could need power etc.

    Thanks for any help
    Josh

Looks like he sold you "Virgin" ECU. EWS block is still there.

Would the car turn over and trigger the fuel pump and associated DME relays if that is the case

Would the engine turn over, or would the starter crank the engine? Yes, because starter operation has nothing to do with MS43 engine management system.

Ended up being the coil pack power. Came of an independent joiner not pictured in any of the write up.
