I was using the getrag 260 with my s52 swap, I'm stuck and dont know what direction I have to bend the shifter rod to make it normal

Shot in the dark here as I don't start my swap till Friday, but if the trans is clocking 10 degrees to the right wouldn't you bend the rod to the left to counter that?

Technically yeah, but I've bent that rod in so many ways I just can't get it to work its always to far right to far down

Did you bend or cut the carrier arm too?
If not check out this article. I realize people just say you need to bend the arm but I plan to do what this guy did.
