Ews 2 delete

So the ecu I got with my motor is the Siemens dme ms421.1 and I know this has ews 2 in so I was wondering how that really works. Could I just not wire up a switch from the battery to a certain pin on the ecu and flick the switch so it sends a signal before I start my car?

you would have to wire entire EWS2 system for it to let you start. Other option is to flash the EWS out of the MS41.1 so that you don't need it.
