Please help me to identify this piston. I find on 8 weeks on google on facebook on ebay. I can't identify... Was in a block M50 stroker with 328 crank and I have 5 pistons... I want to rebuild the engine.

Well, I can tell you it's not from a M50TUB25 or a M25B28. They don't have the dish pistons. Most likely from a M50NV. What's the diameter?
Here's a good website to use. There's a chart with relevant piston info towards the bottom of the page.
EDIT: If you're using those pistons with 135mm rods and a 2.8L crank and they are from a NV, you're going to be 4.88mm above the deck at TDC.Last edited by CMBusch; 12-13-2018, 03:07 PM.Originally posted by Melon -
Definitely not m52b28 piston. Doesn't even look like M50NV piston. Maybe m50 vanos piston, but can't be sure. Almost all m5x engines with 84mm bore have flat top piston. I also would like to know what piston that is as well. It looks similar to the m50nv. Could it be from the m42b18? I have a pics of rods and pistons from; m20b27, m50nv, earlier m50b25tu, later m50b25tu, m52b28 and m54b30. I’ll post them as soon as I figure out how to paste them or download them onto this reply.Comment
