My cousin is working on an M50(non-VANOS)swap from a 92' 525i to his 91' 318iS and he has run into a problem. Since the 525i was an auto he ended up using a wiring harness from an early non-VANOS M50 E36. Though he didn't notice till later that the E36 harness is missing the o2 sensor(clipped off?) The harness from the E34 still has it, but from what I understand the colors of the four wires leading to the sensor are different. He thinks he MIGHT know whats what, but he's not sure.....
So, does anyone know what color wires are what so he can put the o2 sensor from the E34 on the E36 harness? Or if you know of a wiring diagram....?
I'm relaying info from him so hopefully I've got it correct...he doesn't have access to a computer ATM.
