I don't remember having this problem in my coupe, but in my vert with the stock E30 rad, the A/C compressor has been rubbing on the outer tank of the E30 radiator:
Really odd. Has anyone else run into this issue? As far as I know, the E36 compressor is stock/OE as it came on the M52 when I got it originally. Am I missing something keeping my E30 rad further back? Or should I get under the car with a jack, prybar, and loosen the mounts and try to shift the engine around?
I saw a similar thread with the M54s with no real resolution other than using the E36 compressor or a thinner rad.
