Will a Transmission crossbar solve motor mount issues

I am tired of changing motor mounts and have been pondering a solution for the engine jumping out of place during intense driving.

First I have to work out the y-pipe issue by rewelding it past the trans support.
I have a feeling my exhaust may have something to do with it.

I am thinking of using the e30s secondary trans bracket to somehow ground the transmission down and prevent the engine from jumping forward.

or maybe use the stopper that is used on the trans pn# v With the brake kit installed I need the engine to stay put. any know solutions for this problem? Search brought me nothing.

are you using the "stock" motor mounts? I have the M5 green ones and theyre showing wear and theyre in there just a couple of months.. I will be changing them to the condors ones eventually,

I went through the green ones quick pulled the entire metal screw part out of the polyurithane. I got those off a car I parted from what I remember. found the e30 stopper and there is nowhere to bolt it on or weld it to The only avenue are the condor mounts they are cheap and they are a later production so they likely sorted out the kinks. ill take some picks of where im at now.

How about adding an engine pitch damper, which will also act as a maximum travel limiter? Finding one should be no big deal, and I would venture that the same should be true of mounting. Before you think that it will blow out quickly, they're often solid filled rubber or similar and not hydraulic.

Ultimately you should also address the primary issue which is likely the be the driving style of the operator, unless you have a 1,000 horsepower monster with a power curve like an NSR250R.

At first I was thought of the rear suspension of my Buell when you mentioned the pitch damper.
This last time the mounts likely busted from testing out the bbk.
last time oil had penetrated rubber and track driving did the deed.
engine only moves forward and not backwards.

And the weight of the engine sits more on the drivers side for some reason

Just bubble gum a hockey puck to the top of your transmission. Instant forward motion limiter.

I thought you were kidding when I heard bubblegum. good advice.
I guess i will buy them on amazon cause I doubt sporting goods store will carry hockey pucks in California.

Ahem, there are hockey teams in CA. I was only half kidding about placement, but if something semi rigid can fit in a place that would work as a pitch stop I don't see the downside, other than maybe damaging the trans tunnel over time.

Cousin used to play hockey in Burbank, I’ll take a trip to pik wick and see if they have a ice skating shop.
drove my car with the elevated stock motor mounts, it felt a little Slower possibly cause of the half shaft at an angle?
there’s hardly enough space between the trans but I’ll try it while I’m under there.

While an increase in joint angle can add more friction to a point I seriously doubt that you would feel it. Sometimes when stuff is operating less violently it seems slower, when in fact it is often faster.
