    i have complete 96 328 donor car smashed up is this a simple swap or need to make conversions???

        sorrie guys not a bimmer guy but came from the vdub and audi clubs ive read the sticky u talking about to make it to obd1 but i was gonna use everything from the donor car dash and all wondering if possible if not ill have to do the obd1 swap

            You can run it using the obd2 stuff, but it is considerably more wiring/tricking the engine. It also will limit your choices on ECU tunes etc. Coming from some one who has a 97 2.8 in his car, converting to obd1 is the way to go. There is plenty of info on the entire swap in the sticky at the top of the page.
