I see alot of guides that mention how I can use an automatic harness and how easy it is to remove the auto stuff. But no one provides good links. Anyone got any good info, guides, or links on where I can find the info on what needs to be removed without some super vague answers.

You shouldn’t need to actually remove anything from the automatic harness on either end. I’m currently putting a manual m52 swap with an e36 automatic trans harness to an original automatic e30 harness. You’ll need to ground the neutral safety switch and rewire the backup lights. Otherwise you should be good to go from everything I’ve read. Take that with a grain of salt - just what I’ve found online and what my plans are on my own setup -
appreciate the response, I dont think i need to do either of those however as the reverse switch is on the chassis side on an e30, unsure if it even has a neutral safety switchComment
