        You mean m50 intake right?

Damn, you're running many more mods than I am.

Maybe I'll just buy both so I have a spare just in case.

They are rare as hen's teeth though (3.64LSD) and are only confirmed to be in the 88-89 635csi w/ manual tranny. '84-'85 318i used them too, but they are small cased.
That's what I'm going after, I haven't run the numbers, but I think the 3.64 in combination with 235/40 or 245/40/17 tires should get me close to 60mph in 2nd gear.

              Try 3:15

I started with the 3:73 (88'325Is standard) next went with the 2:93 which was good. I came across a 3:15 out of a low miles z3 . Great combo with my built s52 and zf gearbox . At this time I've got the 15" e30 m3 rims ,205/55/15 . I got 16/8s to tire soon. Not much said about the z3,3:15s . Joe

I don't have excel, so I can only view the diffs online calculator not change it :(

I've got m52, zf tranny and 3.46 LSD with 205/55/15 tires. Could anyone tell me how many rpm I would see at 70 and 80 mph?

What rpm would I see if I was using a 2.93?

I'm still deciding if i want to trade my 3.46 for a 2.93 Unfortunately I have to commute 70 miles by highway everyday for work :(

Edit: This is why I want the 6spd out of a euro M3!!

No, you want a US E46 M3 6MT (Getrag S6S 420G). The Getrag trans is the upgraded version of the Euro E36 6-speed, and is better in every way. The syncro problems of the E36 were fixed to solve the miss-shift problems and early wear. Furthermore, it's less expensive to source now that people have been crashing E46 cars for a while in the States.

Oh - and you can install it in your 24V car with all OEM parts and no custom modifications needed (except a professionally shortened driveshaft - but you would need that with the Euro 6MT anyway).

Gear Ratios / Speeds at RPM (Mechanical Only / No Air Drag Correction) for mine:
                  .

                  E30 24V 6MT SOLD :( - look for it in sunny Miami :)

^^Aero aside, I'd be good for 210+ if that chart is correct!

Yeah, I often get a chuckle about that myself. If only drag didn't increase at a rate equal to the square of your velocity!

...and if only our cars weren't shaped like bricks (what is the average E30's coefficient of drag, anyway?).
                      .

Joe, thats what I was looking for originally, but the guy I was talking to said he didn't know what model had that ratio. The z3's still have a 4 bolt flange?

                          Z3 3:15

I got my 3:15Lsd from a knowageable 325 guy that was parting out his 325 a while back. It does have a bar code on the top of the case that says it all for me. I did not ask about Year, model, flanges or rear cover at the time. I was just so happy to make that buy from him because it was a bolt in for me, sorry. If you can't find where this comes from I could Mirror It. Good luck , Joe

And you don't think a 373 is too high?
