Help identify this wire - E30 S50

I have an E30 S50 that has been pieces for the last 2 years, so I'm a bit rusty on where everything may have gone.
Finally got it all back together. No empty connectors - all were labeled and are back in their homes except for a 2-pin 2ft long cable that I can't for the life of me figure out where it belongs.

Looks like an e36 reverse light harness. When I initially swapped my car I used this as it also works on the vanos solenoid when using the obd2 version which has a shorter connector than the m50/s50 one.

Thanks. I do see that part now in the parts diagrams: 12522274971.

My reverse light cable is connected to the stock E30 chassis connector. My vanos solenoid is also connected directly to the engine wiring harness - I'm on odb1 of course.

When i originally got the engine the E30 converted harness was already installed, so fingers crossed it was just strapped into the mass of cables and I never noticed. Going to try and turn it over this weekend - hopefully no issues.
