just about have the engine ready to start for the first time. there are a couple of wires are that a bit of an enigma, however. i am hoping that someone out there can give me a little insight to be sure i am pointed in the right direction.
the car is a 91 318i
wire #6(grn/yellow) from the e30 c101: i know it is 02 sensor relay power. i am thinking of connecting it to pin 16 of my x20 which is a white yellow. does anyone know if that will work? the etm says this white/yellow wire is data link to pin 9 of the instrument cluster and also to body electronics control module.
wire #11(white/blue) from the e30 c101: this is the service interval reset. i am thinking of connecting this to my x6031 plug, wire #3 is green/red. the etm says data link to pin 13 of the instrument cluster.
wire #14(red/white) of the s52's x20 plug. the etm says electronics control module relay. the body side of the plug runs directly to a 5 amp fuse in the fuse box. i am thinking that i need to connect this? anyone have any ideas?
other than these three, i think i am pretty good to go. i have 2 wires from the ews that need to be connected to power, but other than that, i think i am ready for my first start.
