Drove my 24V turbo for the first time today!

I've been working on this motor swap since about last july and FINALLY drove it around the block today. The motor swap itself was easy, the turbo/fabrication/megasquirt were not.

I still have tuning and shit tons of clean up left but I am very happy with the car. I was barely on the gas in the rain and spun my new 245/45/17s in the rear with me 2.93LSD.

Setup? M50B25 NV, 0.140" MLS hg, HX35 with an 8psi springed WG. A bunch of other stuff but whatever.

yea thats an old video. I found a pin hole leak and the Vband wasn't sealing right. I fixed all the exhaust leaks before driving it.

$3-3.5k range I'd say. I paid $350 for the motor and tranny but it was missing things like the intake, valve cover, accessories that I had to make up. The turbo was free so I saved there.

If you meant JUST the turbo stuff, probably $1.5k but DIYAutotune.com sponsors me so my megasquirt and such was cheap.

Nice! I would love to check your car out sometime as I will be going turbo on my 24v swap after I sell my e36 M3. Any drift events you will be attending soon?

you mean manifold? It's just an ebay manifold. If you want to see my adapter with the WG attachment... no. It's a POS and I am not proud of it. It's only on there until I can make something better.
