S52 OBDI conversion, 540 MAF, pink top injectors, Racers Market chip, headers...I think the engine is pinging under anything other than light acceleration. I've been driving it around since October, maybe 300-400 miles total. I thought it was the exhaust but now I think it may be pinging, I just didn't realize that's what it might be since the knock sensor codes never came up...until today.
I had a Dr Vanos unit and gears installed and the first time they fired it up the 1226 rear knock sensor code comes up. Kind of weird to say the least. Maybe the vanos noise was covering up the knock noise...
Anyone have similar issue?
