I've tried to search for this but it seems that most everyone already has a manual trans of some sort in their car prior to swapping in an m/s5x engine.
My issue is this. My car is an 87 vert that had a slushbox in it before my ownership. I pulled that out along with the dead m20 (no compression) to make way for an m50 with zf 5 speed.
Now that I've got everything in the the car, I have the old auto trans plug on the chassis side that has two green/black wires running into the same pin, a green/yellow wire, a blue/white wire, and a brown wire. On the trans side I have four wires, black, brown, yellow, and green (IIRC).
I've read the few posts on splicing wires to fool the car into thinking that its in park/neutral and bypassing the start relay under the dash, as well as hooking up the reverse lights. My question is how to wire the plugs together between the chassis and the trans?
