what do u mean by rail? on the euro motor i dont have a water rail .... and my bottle is in the standard place i.e. on the left front of the engine bay....
someone suggested something called a 'spider hose ' which is used on the 325's/328's.... anyone know anything of the sort...
i made up my own hose with joiners and bends but takes up too much space, problem comes in when i fit on the intake plenum....i have a euro motor so the plenum is huge

The problem you seem to be having is that you're not observing how things work. You need to learn how things actually work instead of riding the gravy train.
Learn the flow circuit of your engine...You'll no doubt have a flange on the back of the cylinder head. This is an out flow to the heater matrix. The bottom hose flange on the the firewall is the inflow port to the heater matrix. the upper firewall flange then must be the outflow. This connects to the "pull" side of the waterpump. The expansion tank also drains into this part of the cooling circuit. If you have the coolant expansion tank hooked up correctly then there's your hint. Locate the hose and connect. It's on the left hand side of the engine.
Happy Hunting.
