S52 Swap need more HP

i will be doing a S52 swap soon i need more HP what can do to get more out from it simple tweeks bolt ons

just clear things no Turbo no SC yet small fairly inexpensive stuff

Gt35r w/ a .82 exhaust housing. From what i've seen they're really at home on 24v motors.

It takes at least a few weeks to get bored of the s52's power. Then you can do what e30s52 mentioned, and maybe some torquier gears as well.

Evosport cams. With supporting injectors, intake, tune, and exhaust, and nothing else, these make 288whp on an S52. Check out the threads on bimmerforums if you're interested.....but be aware these cams alone are the better part of $2k.

How about cheap unbolts, free = remove rear seats, spare tire:)

Have fun making no power till 4k. Those 290 degree cams are too aggressive for street driving. VANOS will feel like an on off switch! Perfect for the track, but not for the streets unlessed paired with some fairly short gears... :crazy:

BTW they've made 310whp with those cams on a fully built IP race s52 with euro race headers. ;)
