    SPAL fan on m50

I bought a SPAL fan a while ago and havent gotten around to install it but its getting warmer so im a little bit more worried.

i understand the grounds and the relay i just need to know where to plug in the orange wire that goes to the ignition.

    Thanks

not sure if this is what you are asking, but the temp swich in the later model cars has three pins. one is for ground, one is the low temp, and the other is high temp.

You can get your lower temp switch from your local bmw parts house. Part numbers are in the picture.
More info if your not running a/c and want to use your stock aux fan.
