High Idle issues

    No its not driving fine. I'm not driving it at all actually.

    It still has the same high idle thing going on.

    I am getting a new TPS.

    And yea only those 2 codes. I was surprised actually.

    Yea i was positive it was the fuel tank code so I wasn't worried about that one.

    So i'm just waiting on the TPS and then if I still have a problem ...well I dunno.

      Check your TPS wiring for shorts and breaks as well. Good luck.

        Well I got my new TPS today put it in ...and well it seemed to helped but when the engine got warm...it started doing the same thing.

        But now a new development. I get p0505.

        Great. Get new parts, get more fault codes.


        EDIT: P0505 disappears when I start the car. I still get the TPS code. SO i'm tracing the wires.

        Depressing shit.

          did you ever get this figured out? i've been having the same problem but it idles at 2500-3000, unplugging the icv drops it and it hunts around 800-1500. if you found the problem please let me know. thanks
