TRM - The Racer's Market - Free Shipping offer on any OBD1 chip!

    Hey Guys,

I know I haven't been around too much lately, but we are still offering free shipping on chips for you guys including performance chips, EWS delete chips, and custom tunes.

The old coupon code (R3VSHIP) does NOT work with our new website, but all you have to do is email me and I will send you one that will work.

    matt at racersmarket dot net

    Thanks,

    Matt

Do you think you can get back to me with my m52 obd 1 re-tune
long story short I bought a chip/tune from you about 1.5 year ago, got it dynoed twice at $75 a pop with the re-tune you sent me and guess what, it made less hp than the first chip you sent and made the car run worse than before, and I still have a constant cel light with a 1222 code and hard bucking under part throttle at 2400-3100 rpms
emailed you about it 4 months ago you respond by saying I did not order the right tune for my combo and/or my cams are installed wrong but then when I emailed you my receipt of my order showing you what the tune was for then called and talked to bret proving to him that I in fact install the cams correctly you (trm) never respond. so whats the deal can you pleas make this right I would really like to see my car make the kinda power it should based on the other people who have the same combs on bf or am I going to be stuck with a $375 paper wight
my combo is as follows ( same as when I first ordered it)
      1 x M52/S52 OBD-I Software (TRM-S52-OBD1) = $375.00
      Octane 91 Octane
      Rev Limit 7000
      Motor M52 w/ S52 cams
      MAF Stock M52/S52
      Lightweight Flywheel Lightweight flywheel installed
      Injectors Stock S52/M52 (pink top)

          Hey Greg,

I haven't heard anything from you since March... It's hard for me to fix anything when I don't know there is still a problem.

You need to talk to Bret again (call the shop) and let him know what's going on. Or email info@racersmarket.net.

          Thanks,
          Matt

            Hey Matt,

When I buy the chip, do I have to indicate what DME I have? 413 red, silver, or silver 506? Or does it not matter? I noticed there's not field to indicate so on the website.

                Matt,

Another question is about flywheel. I'm mating up the s52 with the stock getrag 260/M20 flywheel, not the stock s52 flywheel. Do I choose stock flywheel or lightweight?

That's up to you. The difference is that we'll raise the idle to about 1k RPM to prevent stalling because of the lighter flywheel.

Honestly, I even like a high idle in my e36 with a stock flywheel, so there are no hard and fast rules.

                    Matt,

Is there a new code for the free shipping? I'm having trouble checking out on the website cuz it's not letting me log in. It says that my username is blocked. But I just registered for it.

I have to give you a unique code, I don't have a generic one anymore. Shoot me an email or PM and I will generate one for you.

No, and probably never will. Have you considered a vanos motor?

                            OBD2 turbo tunes are next.

Get OBDII going and you might have another customer :)

I basically have a vanos motor but im having too much fun hopping on the highway, logging anything i want to keep an eye on, and adjusting. I do see the beauty of a stock DME tune though. My car does not start like it used to lol.
