Just ordered it, got a steal at $200 shipped, used for 1 week. Anyone have a later overflow and associated lines that is really clean as well as I think I need that little plastic part that is the radiator brace on top, dont think my 87 has that.

Who has the best prices on Spal or another good 16" in fan, also is it OK running the AC condenser without a fan infront of it? I am running the E36 Mishi and all the E36 A/C componets

What's the stock aux fan rated at? I run no a/c with the stock aux fan and i run right in the middle out in cali in 100* heat in the summer.

i honestly have no idea. i shouldve just run the stock auxiliary first to see where i was at, but i had read that it was pretty sorry. i will probably reinstall it and give it a try before i upgrade to a better fan.

Bumping this since the question was never answered: do mounting brackets need to be fabbed for the mishimoto?

Do they need custom mounting brackets to fit in a late model E30?

Lee sells brackets to hold a Spal on an Aluminium radiator. Or threaten to copy them because you don't like his prices and start another crisis.

Greg, I think he means brackets for mounting the actual radiator into the car.

Ah, I just drilled a small hole in mine in the box channel and used that in conjunction with the oem mount.

This is the answer that I was looking for. So no brackets to mount the rad.? This is good. This is very good.

Does anyone have any experience mounting this in an early car? I know I will need the late model coolant expansion tank, but as far as mounting the actual E36 radiator to the car, is it plug and play?

Check the m20 section I just posted how to install e36m radiator into early car keeping m20 and early bottle.

Any 24v engine can handle early bottle just like 12v can. S54 can also.

Awesome, thanks! Any advantages or disadvantages to running a late model coolant tank?

Early seems lighter and in more ideal weight bias position to me, late model probably more advanced? I ran a new late model bottle in my e36m as replacement for the e36m USA stock unit- ala "e36 euro style" with s52 and s54, im using early m20 w m20 now and like it, find it reliable as it is new.
