    M50->E30 Posative wire?

    Where do i connect this wire?

    What does it do and where should I connect it? I think it went to the fuse box in the E36 but I am not sure...

    Also just to make sure:
    Ground wires: battery to shock absorber bolt
    2 ground wires from E36 harness
    ground wire from E36 engine arm to body
    Posative wires: 2 wires from E30 fuse box (small)
    one wire from E36 harness (big)
    and I think the one in the pic, but not sure
    correct?

    Yes, you are correct. That cable originally went to the E36 fuse box. You can just hook it up to the starter's positive terminal. If you trace it back, this cable branches off from the main E36power wire.

    Everything else you said is correct. There are two ground wires from the E36 harness, 2 wires from the e30 fuse box get hooked back up to positive.

          we maneged to get starter working (I left three drive shaft bolts in the gear box - they made it stuck - stupid me). we didn't connect that wire yet

          jrdeamicis - it looks like a chain, but it's made of silver
