IX booster and master cylinder options

So the 95 M3 Master cylinder will bolt to the IX booster. However with a 24V it is too long and will hit the intake even with the spacer removed. Also the brake lines are the same size. But it is an idea and good to know.

The MC for the m3 is a 25.4

I also checked rod depth. Its really small gap before the rod hits the MC.

I bought Reno Clio break booster ( http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Renault_Clio - first gen one). Gap between intake manifold and break booster is more then 1cm (using E28 535 engine mounts), the four bolts and E30 master cilinder fit. The rod had to be increased by about 16mm and the pin hole drilled to 10mm from 8mm. I havent put it yet so no idea about preformance...

the MC cyl hits the intake hose or the brake resevoir? i'm using a MC off an e34. the e36 one seemed to be equal in size. i have an IX booster with no spacer on the back. check this pic:

that's my old chasis it all cleared just fine. tight, but clear.
        No more e30s for me.

          You need a remote reservoir.

I dont have the intake in atm since its impossible to mount that BB with the intake in.

But my guess would be that the actual MC hits the boot. I am going to try it. Proper brake proportioning for my setup is what I am really going for.

I will get more pics next week.

I plan on cutting the extender out of the spacer and welding the stack together onto the BB
