I recently bought a bunch of obd1 parts and i thought the harness was from a manual car but it is from an auto and i was wondering how to convert it???

I just did this and it was not that hard. just carefully remove the auto plug and the plug for the auto brain and make sure you connect the brown/black wire pin 26 transmission ECU” need to be connected to any “red/white wire on the main relay.1989 332IS -S-Fiddy Four-Some weight removed.
5 lug E36 M3 Brakes Coilovers and LTW's and No ABS. -
what happens if you dont connect the brn black? ive been driving for like 6mo without it
