M50 swap started
Can anyone tell me if my 1985 318i m10 transmission will bolt up to my 1995 325is m50 motor? I bought the swap parts from TreeHouse and talked with John over there, he seems to think it will, however you can only use 4 of the six bolts. Also can someone tell me who sells the EWS delete ship? The donor car was a 1995 325is A/t.

I doubt using only 4 of 6 is a good plan. I can help you source a tranny. I am local.Past Car : E30 S50 6 Speed 5 Lug 3.73

Not sure about the 4/6 bolts deal, but the bellhousing shape of the M10 is the same as the S14/M30 if I remember right. So it should be completely different from the M20/M50 shape.Comment

Thanks, I was just trying to save somthing from the car. I swap the diff last year to a 325 , 3.73. And with a full rebuild going on the motor now, I was trying to save some $$$.Comment

How much do you think it will cost? I have found a 1996 m3 5 speed for $400,but im going to need a mount made and a drive shaft as well,correct?Comment
