318+m50+g240= which drive shaft

late model sedan btw, dosent really make a diffrence though.

what drive shaft options do i have?
i know coupe and sedan are the same length. so all i need to know is if i can use an e or an i. also what csb?

need to shave and use m20 flywheel and use the clutch and starter out of the same m20/g260, and get a 320i throw out bearing? correct?

E36 5 speed drive shaft with a E30 Center support bearing installed backwards.

And yea 320i TOB and M20 starter.

also for the shifter linckage and carrier use the hardware from a zf e36 it is 1 inch longer than e30 getrag 260 gear and puts the shifter in the center of the hole

dominic49, since your a great help was wondering if you could break this down for me.



on the g260 linkage would have to be lengthened on which side of the carrier? left or right?
the uuc selector rod i take it is a great improvement? now would the have to be lengthened if i kept the g260 selector? i take it not since extending the linkage should keep the selector the correct length correct?

it doesnt need to be lengthened to work correctly its more of an aesthetic thing
