I bought a 92 325 with 135k mile for the engine and tranny for $250.....this idot bought the car for the hood,doors,bumper and some interior and towed it home ,he heard a noise,but kept going...this is why you never ever EVER tow a car using a tow dolly..he ripped the shit out of the tunnel huh!

explain to me how this happens. i never knew this. Good thing my current e30 chassis i bought for $300 because it had no drivetrain... unknowingly i used a tow dolly.No more e30s for me.

I also used a tow dolly to tow my car around, the guy at uhual told me to disconnect the driveshaft, which would be a pain in the ass but fortunately was was just a roller at the time
no,... the tranny and driveshaft was hooked up.... the guibo must have came apart or something,it tore the tranns mounting taps right off .there was no linkage so I suspect he started to unhook the DS bolts and left it from there..the uhaul guy told him not to tow with drive wheels on the ground.!:ohsnap:NASA
