    Alternator cooling duct Solution PICS

Well I was tired of how people do this duct. So I fisssed it. I now have alternator cooling. To drive all my amps and speakers and ice and robots.

    Or maybe just my boombox.

And my side project for the night. Integrated into the engine harness, BMW connector VDO Gauge Wire hook up. So I can build different fan outs for it and not have to redo my wiring all the time.

If you're still using an HFM, I'd like to see how you plan on getting away with fitting an air filter now.

It all fits well. There is a lot of room that you can not see.

Ill take some pics when its all completely back together. I am waiting on a die for my BB.

Really? I guess I'm not a pansy then since I run a MAP sensor.

Is that your secret to having enough space, no HFM?

Is this cooling duct really necessary? Where you have it it seems like there would be no airflow from the fan anyway?

                  MS?

It all fits. My piping goes down into the fender well. It would fit fine in the engine bay with a long filter. Its tight. But not that bad. When I get some more time I will take some pictures.

The MAF is before all that and my filter goes down into the fender well there.

It has some airflow from the headlight. Sadly it is not as efficient as the stock configuration. But it is better than nothing. I am thinking of making some more provisions for it.
