    diff between E36 m50nv and E34 m50 nv?

One of the reasons I got my M50nv was because of the dual valve springs, lower compression (.5 but hey its .5), and thicker rods. I might pick up a spare E36 M50nv but I'm wondering if it has the same innards.

    anyone know for certain?

    Status: HG repair. 488wtq though!

Part numbers are the same in RealOEM and from what I have read they are the same.

IIRC exterior items are different. Oil pan and dipstick.

As far as I know they are the same , The wiring harness in the E34 M50 is shorter then on the E36.

True. I already have that so I'm not concerned.

Cool. I didn't know that about the harness.
