is it possible to mate these 2 together? The m50 is a non-vanos and has a cracked cylinder head, but I got an s50 head with it and I would like to have a running m/s50 swap out of the $100 worth of parts I got (m50 long block, s50 head, NV wiring harness, NV dme, auto transmission, and an assorted box of random bolts and parts for an s50).

it will work. the timing covers wont line up perfectly IIRC, but it will work fine. you're going to swap in an auto tranny? -
no, I'm gonna use my getrag 260 from my m20. Is there anything that I need to get to make it run right? or do I just bolt it up and go? I'm planning on running it without vanos but I can get a vanos wiring harness and dme if I need to.Comment
