I just used a e36 spider hoes and cut it to length to fit the coolant reservoir. I just used a piece of pipe that fit the heater hose fitting and bent it out of the way, nice and slowly...
as far as the starter goes their should not be any grounds that go to it, as it is grounded off the block. to 2 small wires are the starter signal from the key and the under load signal,
the black wire that you are talking about is more than likely the the power wire from the alt but I need to see some pics of it to confirm that.

What hose combination do I use to run the late model overflow reservoir? What the engine came with was like an 8ft hose off of the center spider hose. Should I just cut this piece to length or what?
Heater core: How did everyone bend the piping, the top part is hitting the intake currently.
There is a black cable running from the back of the block on up towards the front (I can't see how far it goes up, I lose it behind everthing) with a larger square metal terminal and a hole in the center of it. Does this go to the starter? If so, where does it hook up? I assume the black is a ground, and I've already got 2 small grounds on the starter.
Do I need the evap canister? What should I do with the line opening on the car, just cap it off?
I think that's it for now, thanks for the help.Tags: None
