I am woking on the brakes for my conversion. Got the Booster from Zionsville and 325 25mm MC from bimmerworld. Mounted everything up and used the brake fluid canister I had lying around which I am not sure is the correct unit but it bolts right on and has a nipple sticking out at an angle for the clutch master.
When I started the bleeding process using my motive unit @ 15 psi, I realized that the number two output, which I connected to the front brakes, barely leaks out break fluid but the when I disconnect the clutch master hose that I connected to the angled nipple brake fluid comes out with a lot of pressure.
I am kind off confused here...this had never happened to me but I am new to BMW. I have bled plenty of 911, 993, 356.....ect. I did realize the canister is separated in the inside. Is is this normal? This car had the hydraboost system previously installed which is where the canister probably came from.
Dont't know...I am I just being inpatient? In my past bleedings it was so straight forward?
Sorry for the long rant post, I am a little frustrated, I was planning on doing my first test run today.
