even if you do, how will you get in on over the ecu plug? i suggest getting one from a junk yard. i had to slit mine up the side to get it off my m42 harness. i plan to put that edge down and fill it with urethane.

i found an m42 harness at the junk yard, cut it right at the grommet got it off in one piece, and with enough monkey fucking and some ass lube (silicone spray) i got it over the s50 ecu plug and in the firewall without ripping or cutting.
If you really are having trouble, just get a blade and cut it directly down the middle. Position it in the firewall and use zipties (two) to make it air tight. Its the easiest and most effective way without wasting much effort and time. Plus it seals.
my M50 harness has a square grommet, and the 318chassis has a round hole..did you guys square the hole or cut off the square grommet to the harness, and taped ths shit out of it???
I recently spent an incredible amount of time trying to track down part numbers and such regarding the rubber boots on and in and around the harness box and such.
It can be very frustrating.
If you examine the grommet closely, and can find a part number on it, it is very likely to be just the 7 digit version.
In the E36 section, usually, its 12 52 in front of that if I recall....but check on realoem.com to see what some of the other similar parts are labeled, and it might give you a clue to the front 4 digits.
Why?
Well, because in my recent experience, the dealer was no help. BUT...give the guys at Maximillian Import a call, and ask them to check on the part number you want. INSTANT results virtually, and they're a pleasure to work with.
Good luck!
If there is no part number on the grommet, you may well be SOL. I assume you've tried REALOEM.com.... Many parts are considered to be part of an engine harness, and not available independently. Very frustrating. But you may well find that some other car model has something similar that will do, and can be ordered.
