Help me with M52 connectors and hoses

It's been a while and I can't remember this stuff anymore. Anyone kind enough to name these vacuum hoses and electrical connectors? Also, enjoy my fascinating work gloves in the pics!

edit: I removed the pics I've figured out so far.

    1) Where do you get vacuum to the fuel regulator from?

    2) 3 hoses coming from intake. From right to left: ICV-boot, mystery?, mystery?

    3) what is this mystery connector in the MAF harness?

    4) I can't find anything to to plug into this end of the injector electrical rail??

    1) What's the right place to get vacuum from to fuel rail regulator?

    2) 3 hoses coming from intake. From right to left: ICV-boot, mystery?, mystery?

    3) This mystery connector splices from the MAF harness?

    4) I can't find anything to to plug into this end of the injector electrical rail??

    5) Maybe ICV?

    6) Long-ass wire, maybe to the intake temp sensor?

    7) I think this goes to the throttle body?
    1) fpr
    2) goes to the evap canister
    3) evap canister purg valve
    4) if its a 3 port plug most likely for the crank position sensor
    5) iac
    6) ?
    7) ?
looking for a e30m50 swap harness adapter pm me $150 shipped

Thanks Greg, I got most of the connectors figured out. 4) is not CPS, it's connected elsewhere.

I also completed wiring today, it's excellent except that it doesn't work :D

      A) When key is turned to ignition position IAC starts running and doesn't stop.
      B) When I try start, nothing happens except a sharp tick around starter and then nothing on subsequent tries. unless battery ground is removed for a bit.

Managed to start and run the engine today. Answering myself:

        1) FPR vacuum hose goes to intake right behind of the long mystery hose.
        4) Vanos solenoid connector goes to the rail.
        6) It's the intake temp connector.
        7) it's the TPS connector..

        A) IAC still hums quietly when power is on, I dunno if this is normal
        B) Poor positive terminal connection on battery. Replaced connector and she started!

So where does this one plug into? I know the round connector plugs into the MAF.

Oh! My IAC vibrates in the on position as well, thought this was strange. But I'm also popping fuse 9. :( And I don't start. :(

It connects to part number 1. It's a valve controlling the fuel evaporation canister. Note that you can just put 1k resistor to the connector to bypass the valve if you don't have it. BMW even provides a part for it (number eight).

WAit, do you know the wire colors of it.

I have another connector connected to that purge valve...

I just got excited and flipped that connector onto the purge valve and still no start and the fuse still pops. :( Time to go buy more fuses. :(

Evap valve connector is brown and red/white. Maybe you have intake air sensor connector plugged in there?

If you have fuse issues, I'd look into your c101 connection. Incorrect connectors on engine harness are unlikely to pop fuses.

I paid for a premade harness as I didn't really do any of the wiring... so I was assuming that I made the mistake somewhere else.

Okay, I now have teh brown and red/white plug connected ot the evap valve. (I bypassed the charcoal canister but it should still be okay now that's it connected properly, I assume)

The connector that I now have free is the same type of connector but with a black and a yellow wire.

                  Hmmm.

Assuming your adapter is okay, have you checked your basic harness power wiring:

                    - Is your DME properly grounded? Ie does DME case have a connection to ground (body)?
                    - Is the engine harness thick black ground wire connected to ground?
                    - Are both +12v red cables (large and smaller) connected to positive terminal? no shorts?

I have a brown and a brown/red wire wrapped in a black bundle as my ground.

Also the air compressor (obd2 stuff) is grounded.

The weird part is that the car started yesterday...

Car cranks just fine. DME is screwed in to the bracket (albeit kind of only half way b/c the bracket is bent, but nonetheless it's grounded)

                      Hmm.

Any idea what the black/yellow wire connector is for? Maybe it was something to do with the auto trans.

Where does the brown/red wire come from? I don't think BMW uses dual colored ground wires!

Can't find anything in my notes about black and yellow wired connector, might be auto-related or maybe ASC if you have it.

Yes, it might be one of those things.

I was confused by the brown/red wire as well. However the brown/red and the brown wire are in the same bundle and come out with the same connector.

                          -----br/red--------\
                          ------br-----------/

It comes out of the main harness.
