I was previously thinking about building up my m42, but after a talk with some guys who have some m50/s50 swaps, they got me thinking this is the route I want to take.
The dilema is this, I plan to drive the e30 with the m42 for a little more than a year, maybe two, and my clutch went out.
I think it would be a waste if I just replaced the m42 clutch/ pressure plate, but I want to keep funds down for the swap. is the m20 clutch/flywheel/ 323 TObearing compatible with all the transmission possibilities with the M50. If I can upgrade the flywheel/clutch/ and use it for the m50 It seems most cost effective.
Wondering If I should just slap in a new m42 clutch kit for 160 bucks, and call it a day, or just go for the m20 flywheel/cltuch kit for roughly 250-300, but then put a significant pinch in my wallet.
Thanks,
