    Aftermarket coolant temp gauge

    I have an aftermarket temp gauge that i have to put in one of the radiator lines. which line do you guys think will give me a more accurate reading.

    upper or lower and why. thanks.

    Why not just put it on the head? Delete the TB heater hose and put it there.

      i would put it on the one with the hot coolant on its way to the rad, this would give a more accurate reading of how hot the fluid is that is comming out of the engine, which is what you want. The temp of the coolant entering the engine will just depend on how good your rad/aux fan are..

      I just did a quick look and cant find which is which though...
