Are you running this setup? I'd like to see pictures if anyone has this and there is clearance. I've tried several fan/clutch combos and they either hit the expansion tank or vanos pressure feed unit (the nub that sticks out anyway).
I am using an e36 m42 radiator and no way the clutch fan from an e30 will fit. I just set an electric fan to push and set it in front of the radiator.
well, my experiment is that i just purchased an e32 750i v12 condenser fan from one of the members here. i plan to run that big sucker as my electric fan. looks like it should pull about twice the cubic feet per minute as the stock m42 pusher. it is a bigger diameter, has more blades and probably has a more aggressive pitch. i will post some comparison photos when it comes in the mail. it should plug into the stock electrical connector with no modification. the good news is that if it works, it only cost 15 bucks.
