    Electric fans, another question

OK so the S52 went in today, the Mishimoto radiator is here and I am getting it all together. I am planning on running A/C so I will have a condensor infront of the radiator. I am using a low temp thermostat and fan switch along with BMW coolant and water wetter. So can I just get away with wiring in a 16" electric aux fan infront of the radiator and condensor with the stock aux fan wiring? Will it cool enough? Its not a track car, a auto-x or two and some spirited driving. I live in CT so it gets hot but not too bad. So options opinions.

I live in Phoenix, AZ and trust me it gets hot. I do not have A/C with my M50. But I do have a brand new E36 M3 Radiator, BMW coolant, water wetter, and lower temp. thermostat. Running with a Spal 16" electric fan. It stays nice and cool at the half way point. Now whether or not A/C and a condenser in front of your radiator will make a difference....I can't help you there. But good luck none-the-less!

I have an all alum PWR with a condenser in front and a 14" Perma cool pusher fan wired in. On the back, I am running a stock thermostat, Stewart Components water pump and no clutch fan. Inside I run BMW blue, Water Wetter, and distilled water.

I have NEVER gone over half on the gauge, even sitting parked on the freeway for 20 minutes on a 100 degree day. At speed its just a tick below half at all times.

I used a 14 Perma-Cool High Performance fan, looks like this...

Thanks Van I think you answered my question, what CFM is your fan rated, I think the Spal I am looking at is 2300

2900 iirc, but thats pulling. Usually switching it to a pusher drops it by 10% I think it is.

So a 2300 cfm pusher should do the trick, I hope
