scratching like noise comming from tranny area...

well i finally got my car running with an exhaust system, and know i am hearing all sorts of new things that were muffled by the open header noise..

Here is a running vid i filmed.. notice the scratching like noise when i get in the car.. Just wonder what this could be? Could be just be that my transmission fluid is low? ( i know it is becuase i havent filled it up all the way) or is it just becuase of the brand new clutch(never been into gear)?

doesnt sound like transmission noise to me. listen around till you find atleast the area its coming from. its hard to say from the video. and fill up your gear oil.

(took about 400ml) and the noise seems to be gone now... Thanks!

damn thats great it was that easy. you mustve been pretty low on oil. sucks to know you were running it without, atleast not driving/shifting and all that jazz.

yeah, never went into gear like that, so it should all be fine... once i get the brakes and clutch finished up ill be able to drive it...

I think your ICV may be bad, judging from the rocking idle.

yeah, im going to try cleaning it out, i know its functioning becAuse i can hear it buzz when i turn the key on.
