E34 dipstick tube question

    E34 dipstick tube question

    So on the E34 dipstick tube there are 2 ports for hoses, running a obd1 S52 is there anything to hook up here or do I just cap them off? I cant seem to find anthing that goes to them, TIA

    What mine doesnt have any? plug-em....

      so yes just plug them, no need for anything to hook up there? Just checking as I cant seem to find much info.

          wierd, now I am wondering why mine has them. It fits fine and is the right length. Weird, guess I will get some caps unless anyone else chimes in.

            I think you have an S52 tube.
            The E34 tube is a single tube with a welded bracket.

            I drilled a hole the top of the oil pan Left side, tapped for a 1/4" fitting.

            Other people have made a hole on the E34 dipstick tube and welded a branch to it.

              I have S52 one also, maybe I mixed it up, this one fits pefectly and goes right to the bottom of the pan and hold the o ring whrere it should be

                mine has the tube too and it was sent to me with the e34 pan. Hate the way it sits in my bay. Pain in my ass.

                  looked at the other one, this is the right one, nine sits perfectly so i just capped the tubes
