Help me diagnose this problem

    Yea I have the brown one in.

    The problem is the blue sensor has a different thread size and is too small for the hole. Just found this out when I went to pick up a new sensor.

        your doing it wrong.

        It goes The temp sensor to the dme goes in the first hole #14. The sender to the cluster goes in the second hole 13.

          No, I did it right just worded my last post poorly.


          The forward sensor's port on my S52 cylinder head is threaded for a larger sized temp sensor.

          I got a sensor in there that works, came out of an 89 325is.

              Yea, so far so good. All I did though was start it up and let it run for about 15 minutes. Its up on jackstands getting a bunch of stuff done.

              Will test it out next week when I get everything finished.
