    s52 no start...please confirm diag

I am swapping an s52 into my e34 touring and it is not starting. I think I have it narrowed down but I would like to have it double checked.

When I turn the key on I am not hearing the main relay click...also I am not getting a CEL with the key in the ON position.

I think I have a bad DME but would like confirmation of this.

Here is what I have tracked down.

At the DME connector I have constant power coming it at pin 26 (which it says via the ETK). I get power when the key is in the run pos. at pin 56. I have connectivity from pin 27 to the main relay socket. When I ground pin 27 at the DME the main relay clicks and I can hear the ICV turn on as well as something in the back of the car click..another relay of some sort I assume.

So from this I assume it is the job of the DME to be powered by pin 26.... when it receives power at pin 56 it pulls pin 27 down to ground and makes the main relay turn on.

    Is that correct?

When I have the DME plugged in and turn the key on the main relay does not click. So from this I assume I have a bad DME.

    Does this sound right?

And if it does, does anyone have a red label 413 for sale?
