Can Someone tell me if you have to use the e21 320i transmission mounts with the (Metal cups )on them (like the ones on AKG motorsports)? Can You use the e21 320i mounts with out the metal cups? The motor is a M50 with zf trasmission/ car is 1985 318i. Thanks for any feed back. Does the motor really move forward without the cups? Its a DD.

you dont HAVE to, they are just more firm. You can use e30 or e21 mounts.-Alex

Thanks Uber E30, I plan then to upgrade to the cups after I recover a bit from all the $$$ departing . I was in a hurry to get a answer and after the post went on I realized that I did not say Please. Not cool I know. Sorry for that .Comment
