I would like to know what are the MAIN common problems people would face after an S52 swap is done on an E30.

e.g.: Buying a swapped car, what to ask/look for?

Non hacked engine to body harness connection, operational CEL, emissions inspection, CARB/Ref certification, proper cooling system mods (electric fan, metal impeller pump, metal t-stat housing, centered shifter in console, non hacked mounts, proper brake pedal feel, etc.

Take it to a knowledgeable mechanic and get a PPI.
