TRM MS41 (OBD2) software is now available!

Performance tunes for some setups are available now, and we will be offering more as we continue to dyno tune local cars in person. Those of you who have asked me about EWS deletes etc please contact me again if you still need "adjustments" made in your software. All sorts of custom stuff is possible as well, just shoot me a message. Tell me what you need and I will go into the ECU and find it for you. :)

The software will not be on www.racersmarket.net right now. For the immediate future, everything will be done on a custom basis. Just contact me with your setup and I will reply with options and pricing. I can answer any questions about our capabilities and what tunes are available.

    FAQ:
-Yes, we have software for M52s (MS41.1) and S52s (MS41.2)
-Yes, you will have to ship your ECU in to us.
-Yes, we will turn it around the same day.
-Yes, we are still working on OBD2 FI tunes. They are probably still months away.

    Thanks guys!

Ballpark figure on tuning prices? What would be say a stock obd2 performance tune, and then something with s52cams/m50 manifold, and the like. You can reply in PM if you'd prefer. Thanks.

Performance tunes will be about the same price as OBD1 performance tunes. $200 and up.

I will do better pricing on EWS deletes, rev limiter changes, and things of that nature since it's a little easier.

this is very interesting because when I spoke to trm about deleting the ews They told me that it was too difficult to delete and they would reccomend staying obd1...

They convinced me that obd2 was near impossible to run due to the ews delete and then there are these threads about cutting a green wire to delete it... then trm chimes in and says oh no its much more complex than that.

Then another bmw f.i. company tells me to go obd2 because obd1 is ancient and that they can delete the ews no problem...

            What gives???

How long ago was this? Cause it seems like they are just getting into it especially since they dont advertise on their site.

s52 cams are going in my 328 today, so I'll be interested in getting my dme flashed when upgrades become available.

dude, really.....! what is the purpose of you posting this? companies like trm provide a valuable service to our ancient cars. we have so few choices for this sort of thing. obviously, this service wasn't available two years ago when you needed it. now it is. there are now perhaps 50 of us on this forum running obd2. seems our numbers increase every month. i have nothing against you turbo325i and i have no vested interest in trm. i have never spent any money with them but i do intend to in the near future. if enough of you bone heads go spouting off like this, they will probably start tuning hondas or something and all of us will be out of luck. stop ripping on the man. we need him and his company. they probably will be the last ones making this stuff after all the rest of them give up on it because the cars are so old. :hitler:

hey matt, my cousin has an e36 with an s52 swap. He lost his key, so had the dealer replace it with one that matched for his car vin - not the motor/dme vin. Now his car wont start, he turns the key and accessories turn on, but no crank. Assuming it's the ews, will an ews delete flash alone cure the issue... or does it take the physical removal of the modules too?

It will need a flash and the removal/bypassing of the EWS starter lockout.

                    I can help with both.

I called them about a month ago. I don't know where u get 2 years from. I wasn't posting trying to spout off. I still might go with trm for my tune, and I am glad they are starting to offer obd2 tunes. All I was saying is that I was swayed in my decision of obd1 vs. Obd2 based solely on the fact that trm only offered obd1 at that time...

I'm saying that they made obd2 seem far inferior for power, reliability ect ect.

I will post more when I can get on my comp.
