do i need the 96mm one from an e30 m3 or e36 328's or the weird larger one people talk about .

The 96mm is the larger of the two guibos. The other is 78mm.

    A 96mm E30 M3 or E36 M3/328 guibo will work with the E30 M3 driveshaft.

    What transmission are you using?

if your using the m50 trans (getrag out of an e36 318 / 325) then you use the e30 325 driveshaft with the smaller guibo. getrag output flange is small.

if your unsing the s50 / s52 / m52 trans (zf out of an m3 / 328) then you use the e30m3 driveshaft with larger guibo. zf output flange is large.

you can also use the M3/328 driveshaft and guibo with the ZF tranny. These driveshafts are good length wise and have the 4-bolt diff flange for our diffs.

        This is what i'm using.
        No more e30s for me.
