Safety wire is time proven, cheap and easy and I still use it at home. But, the new(er) and improved technology is safety cable. It's easier, quicker, and just a sleek cool installation. The down side is it's more costly for tools and supplies.
Yeah that shit is super expensive, I personally haven't seen it used anywhere yet except inside overhauled turbine engines from certain overhaul companies.
