Who has the lowest priced Mishimotos

out there for sale right now. Anyone bought one in the last month or so. I installed two in vehicles of mine and no thanks to dreaded e36 plastic endcaps need a 3rd.

Arg. Any GB going on for them currently?

At the moment I don't have the time to organize a GB, hence why I was wondering if one was on going. I bought one earlier in the year and now wish I had purchased a few.

Metal water pump grenaded in the engine shattering the fan and destroyed the radiator so track rat got they Carr one, my S50 car got the Mishimoto one and now my new to me 95 m3 needs one.

Happy with the unit I bought as well hence why I want another. Why buy a subpar aka plastic OEM unit to have it fail in two years? Factory should be ashamed of continue to pump out crap like that. This and other things is why BMW does NOT have the reputation of being a great car anymore and reflects on JD Power's report.

Huh, I have no issues with a 5 year old Behr. Aluminum is great and all, but the plastic endtanks aren't complete shit.

i purchased mine from www.boneheadperformance.com, lowest price you can get that radiator on the reg market (other then group buys)...super easy to work with and fast shipping. definitely would recommend them.

What type car? I am talking about typical E36 crap. They are Known for their ridiculous short life spans as are E39 units.

late model E30, same as the E36. I think the keys is having a new unit, and not re-using decade-old radiators.

Oh, but F*(k bleeding e36 cooling systems.

Does that happen a lot? Was it a sheet-metal brazed/welded assembly, or the cast one???

goodluck finding a good price... i'm wondering if I should replace my stock iX unit (which could be original) soon as a precautionary measure as I just finished the S52 swap and bleeding cooant without a bleeder or a vacuum is a pain in the arse...!

The pump was a late model metal impeller and the radiator was stock so it was due for an upgrade. Now I'm on the other car.

Bleed the system by raising the front end slightly ie on a hill it will help. In your case you might need to go on side a little so it goes to the expansion tank.
