Whos is running the eBay F1 clutch kit for e36 m3?

I am trying to decide on a clutch and flywheel setup for an s52 swap. Right now It is a toss up between using the F1 flywheel and sachs oem e36 M3 clutch and pp or using the whole eBay F1 stage 1 clutch kit with flywheel. I will be using the G260 transmission for the swap too, I thought I read somewhere that the throwout bearing spacer has to be machined down or the TO brg will weld it itself to the flywheel anyone care to elaborate on that?

The F1 kit is cheaper, at the prices I have been quoted locally for a sachs Oem clutch kit I am pretty much getting the Flywheel for free with the F1 kit. You get what you pay for though so I was hoping maybe someone on here had used this particular clutch before and could vouch for it or shoot it down in flames.

PS: I will be using the G260 transmission for the swap too, I thought I read somewhere that the throwout bearing spacer has to be machined down or the TO brg will weld it itself to the flywheel anyone care to elaborate on that?

    Thanks,

    Adrian

Okay I guess no-one is. Would it be a pretty safe bet that it would be of inferior quality compared to the oem sachs clutch?

im runnin a M20 flywheel on my m50 with a f1 stage 3 6 puck it seem to hold up very well and compared to the sach's oe clutch it looks a lil more beefy so idk it was like way cheaper than a oe one

I'm getting one next. They get good reviews on BFC. I got the Fidanza 13.5 lb LTW flywheel from Grip Force, and I like it. Quite a bit of chatter when I let off midway through 5th though...

Where did you find those reviews on bimmerforum? I suck at searching on that site apparently. I was looking at that fidanza aluminium flywheel too, the F1 chromoly one is way cheaper though and it only ways 2.5lbs more.

Oh well I guess I'll go with the F1 stage one setup

I'm running their chromoly flywheel and the e36 sachs clutch kit. best desicion i've ever made. has endured two chassis, 2.5yrs of track and about 6000 street miles. i'm rebuilding my engine now and i'm going to keep using it some more. does this answer your question?

i'm looking at the F1 ebay kit also, does the flywheel have to be modified(milled down) in order to fit my E30 s52 swap??? i'll be using the E36 m3 tranny.

I have a JB racing with the Sachs and a Fidanza with the Grip Force, I like the Grip force clutch better but we will see which holds up better.

Im running that along with their flywheel. Make sure you install teh clutch the correct way or you may bend your input shaft when pulling it out.

I like it, my friend has it on his m3 and it's doing pretty good right now.

Im running the Fidanza 11lb, got it on ebay for 250, they were asking 350 obo, sent bo of 250 and they accepted. I am very happy with it mated to a new oem E36 M3 clutch, good actuaton and very very minamal chatter with royal purple.
